Est\u00e1 situado en el <\/span><b>Paseo de la Chopera 10<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en Madrid, en el interior del Parque de Madrid R\u00edo y a un lado de la Junta Municipal del Distrito de Arganzuela.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las dos opciones m\u00e1s utilizadas para llegar son el metro y el autob\u00fas. Si lo tuyo es el <\/span><b>metro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tendr\u00e1s que bajarte en la estaci\u00f3n <\/span><b>Legazpi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, por la cual pasan la <\/span><b>L\u00ednea 3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (amarilla) y la <\/span><b>L\u00ednea 6 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(gris) de Metro de Madrid. Mucha gente lo sabe y por esa raz\u00f3n no es muy visitado. Pero desde Vida de Madrid te animamos a conocerlo, ya ver\u00e1s que<\/span><b> sus 7100 m2 te sorprender\u00e1n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se trata de un edificio con historia ya que \u00e9ste <\/span><b>formaba parte del Matadero Municipal del Mercado de Ganados<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y que hoy en d\u00eda conserva una <\/span><b>colecci\u00f3n de plantas ex\u00f3ticas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Fue construido entre 1908 y 1928 por el arquitecto Don Luis Bellido y Gonz\u00e1lez. Antiguamente <\/span><b>se le conoc\u00eda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> al invernadero del Palacio de Cristal como \u00ab<\/span><b>Nave de las Patatas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab, ya que efectivamente, cumpl\u00eda la funci\u00f3n de almac\u00e9n de hortalizas.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No fue hasta el a\u00f1o 1992 que <\/span><b>el espacio se reform\u00f3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> para ser utilizado como invernadero. Ver\u00e1s que la edificaci\u00f3n es preciosa, \u00e9sta <\/span><b>fue inspirada en invernaderos de Londres y Viena<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Su estructura es met\u00e1lica y tiene techos a dos aguas.
